Business Records
A listing can become much more than a listing
Why the Business Record — not the web page — is the right unit of local infrastructure.

For most of the internet's life, the unit of local information has been the listing. A name, an address, a phone number, a category, maybe a photo. Useful, but disposable.
A Business Record is different. It is a structured, persistent, controllable representation of an entity — one that can be cited, verified, extended and reused across many surfaces at once.
Once that record exists, a website becomes a rendering of it. A marketplace entry becomes a rendering of it. A search result, an AI answer, an agent's action — all renderings of the same underlying record.
That single shift, from page-first to record-first, is what makes everything else in the Local Internet possible.
